The Community Ban List was created out of frustration with the growing number of trolls and racists disrupting online communities, especially in multiplayer servers. As an avid gamer and member of these communities, I witnessed how these individuals would join servers with the sole intent to harass others, spread hate speech, and ruin the fun for everyone.
I wanted to take action and build a platform that helps keep the community safe from these toxic players. The ban list includes users who have been banned for their harmful behavior, and it gives server administrators an easy way to look up whether someone is a known troublemaker before allowing them into their communities.
This platform isn't just about banning players—it's about maintaining a positive and enjoyable environment for everyone. With the Community Ban List, we aim to make online spaces safer, more inclusive, and welcoming to all.
